Description

Some people with autism are reported to be lonely.

We are currently researching this issue to identify the nature and scope of the issue and to determine which interventions, if any, could be effective in alleviating any problems.

Scientific evidence for interventions

There are some studies published in peer-reviewed journals which appear to show that some interventions, including some of those listed below, may be effective in reducing loneliness in some individuals with autism.
