Sound-Based Interventions for Autism

Sound-based interventions are any treatments and therapies which use sound as an intervention technique or which are designed to help someone deal with their hearing sensitivity.

Sound-based interventions include auditory integration training programmes, such as the Berard Method, the Fast ForWord programme, Samonas Sound Therapy, and the Tomatis Method. They also include noise-reducing headphones.
