Impulsivity and Autism

Impulsivity or impulsiveness is a condition in which someone tends to, or is likely to, act suddenly and without considering the consequences.

Impulsivity often occurs alongside or as part of other conditions, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or borderline personality disorder.

Many people on the autism spectrum are reported to be impulsive and many are also reported to have other conditions such as ADHD.
