Relationships and Autism

Some people on the autism spectrum are not bothered about being alone and enjoy the experience.

However some people on the autism spectrum do form relationships and enjoy being with other people.

Some people on the autism spectrum describe themselves as feeling lonely and isolated.

This may be because they lack the communication and social skills needed to make friends.

It may also be because other people find it difficult to make friends with them.
