Saccharomyces boulardii

Saccharomyces boulardii is a yeast, sometimes used as a dietary supplement or a medicine.

It is used for treating and preventing a wide range of conditions including diarrhoea, general digestion problems, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel syndrome, Lyme disease, relapsing Clostridium difficile colitis, and bacterial overgrowth in short bowel syndrome.
