The Peer Mediated Approach (PEER) is a programme designed to teach non-autistic children the best way to help children on the autism spectrum.
It was developed by Connie Kasari and others at UCLA California.
The programme teaches non-autistic to identify children who have difficulty in the playground and to generate ideas to help engage all children in the playground.
