Haloperidol is a type of conventional or typical antipsychotic drug which is sold under various brand names including Haldol, Haldol Concentrate and Haloperidol Intensol.

It is used to treat psychotic disorders and symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and hostility and to control muscular tics of the face, neck, hands, and shoulders.

It is also used to treat severe behavioural problems in children on the autism spectrum.
