Comorbidity

Comorbidity is a term used to describe a medical condition, disease, or disorder that occurs alongside another.

There are many other conditions, diseases and disorders which are comorbid with autism, that is, they commonly occur alongside or are sometimes associated with autism.

Some of the comorbidities which sometimes occur alongside autism are listed below.

Please note: The fact that someone is on the autism spectrum does not necessarily mean that they will have any comorbidities.
