Our enormous thanks goes out to the 29 runners in the 2007 Edinburgh Marathon on 27th May who ran and fundraised for Research Autism.
A mix of individual marathon runners and relay teams of four were easy to spot in their bright yellow Research Autism vests, and our sponsors Glenmorangie provided whiskey prizes afterwards at our Holyrood Hotel post-race party.
The money is still coming in, but we estimate that the marathon will have raised over £55,000 this year with more to come later on in the year when some of our injured runners plan to run in alternative events.
These funds make all the difference to our ability to initiate new breakthrough research into autism interventions, and our heartfelt thanks goes out to all those involved for their support and energy.
