How do I apply for my own place?

Online entries have now closed. So the only way to get places is through our charity assured places

How do I apply for a charity assured place?

To apply, simply complete and return our Research Autism charity assured place application form (PDF document)

What is a guaranteed/charity assured place (CAP)?

These are guaranteed places that the Research Autism Team has purchased directly from the Bath Half Marathon race organisers and we require you to complete a Research Autism charity assured place application form (PDF document) for one of these places.

What is your ‘own place’?

Your ‘own place’ means that you have entered the online system for the 2012 Bath Half Marathon directly through the official website at www.bathhalf.co.uk (Open in new window) You will have paid an entry fee directly to the Bath Half Marathon Organisers.

Once your place has been confirmed in the Bath Half Marathon, email marathon@researchautism.net or call us on 020 3490 3091.

How much do I have to raise?

If you have your own place there is no minimum sponsorship, we just ask that you raise as much as possible. If you have a Research Autism charity guaranteed place, there is minimum sponsorship pledge of £500.

Please note that Gift Aid cannot be included towards the above sponsorship amounts.

This will be due in one month after the event, 11th April 2012. Of course we’ll give you all the encouragement and support you’ll need to make sure you smash this target.

If you do need to withdraw you will need to let the Edinburgh Marathon race organisers (GSI Events) know as soon as possible. Please also let us know at Research Autism so that we can advise you about transferring your place.
