On July 6th 2006, Research Autism’s first benefit concert, RedAid, took place at Turnmills in Farringdon, London.
It was organised by Redleaf Communications to complement their fundraising efforts at the Edinburgh Marathon.
It involved a constellation of musical talent, all pledged to raising awareness and funds for Research Autism.
As well as providing the audience with a special night of entertainment, the event helped raise awareness of Research Autism’s work, and raised over £1000 for the charity.
Special thanks go to Lynsey Cowan and Andrew Dunn of Redleaf, Linda Ransome at Turnmills, Gary Jackson at FX Rentals, Richard Kirk at Onepom, La Gavroche, FishWorks, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the very very special sound engineer, Gary.
